Wriggling their way around the States seems to have paid the dividends for New York's The Shake, supporting the likes of 'Mooney Suzuki' I'm sure you'll know the sound these guys make, gritty dirty Rock n Roll.

It may come as a surprise if you have heard the band to learn that all are still students, but how charming they can be ,check out 'Let Me Take YOur Far' and you'll find yourself transported through a neat pop-ditto, with a gruff Vocal input that even sound's like Kurt Cobain( can anyone else hear that ?)if only for seconds the band even made it onto film, as the track “Let Me Take You Far Away” was featured in the Robin Williams, Mandy Moore movie License to Wed and is included on the soundtrack album

It foot tapping stuff for sure, but with a powerful back line you soon relise that these guys are more than Ditty Pop, 'Dyin' may well start with some extended guitar chords and biting drum's but it soon powers up and the whole package comes alive with 'Princes and Kings' there's more meat there than on a eat all you can meat buffet .Formed in 2005 this classic combination of Punk and Rock works well, it is the guitars that play the part in making this band stand out, urgent stuff..Check
